Whilst clearing out some old files, I stumbled across the Sunday Times advert that triggered my acquisition of Opalbond way back in 2003. Opalbond today is completely unrecognisable to the animal that I bought, as we continue to trail blaze our unique business model.

It seemed like a bit of a gamble at the time with the first few years spent trying to reverse year on year decline. Now, with sales growth up 240% in the past 2 years, a strong and growing balance sheet and great team of specialists to work alongside, that “gamble” back in the summer of 2003 has proven to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
